Foresight

Foresight involves taking a leap into the distant future to create scenarios and visions. We can design, create and work towards our own scenarios and visions in an attempt to act now either to arrive at a desirable future or to mitigate unfavourable circumstances.

A number of foresight methodologies are currently applied mainly in areas of policy on ICT, science and technology, environment and energy. The design of new and desirable future scenarios draws on creativity skills and to get to that destination requires strategic innovation.
